John H. Daly
Board Member

John Daly has been a member of the Easton Suburban Water Authority’s Board of Directors since 1991.

He is a past Vice Chairman of the Board and currently serves as a member of the Executive Committee, Mr. Daly has been an active member of the Pension, Wages and Benefits Committee, the Security Committee and the Building and Properties Committee.

Mr. Daly has a degree in mechanical engineering and has completed graduate study in industrial engineering at Lehigh University. Before retiring from Ingersoll-Rand Co. in 1985, he held a variety of senior positions in manufacturing management at Ingersoll-Rand’s facility in Phillipsburg, NJ, and at the company’s facility in Quebec, Canada. His experience in the manufacture and testing of pumps, compressors, turbines and rock drills has been a significant contribution in his service with Easton Suburban Water Authority.

 


Active in the community, Mr. Daly has held positions of leadership and authority at the Easton Area Chamber of Commerce, the Eason Area Public Library, Easton YMCA and the Rotary Club of Easton. He was a member of the U.S. Navy and served his country aboard a destroyer in Atlantic and Pacific theaters for four years during World War II.

Mr. Daly lives with his wife in Palmer Township. The couple have five children and 15 grandchildren.
