Michael Moorehead
Assistant Secretary of the Board

Mike Moorehead is an experienced leader with executive level expertise in sales, marketing, advertising, governmental and community relations. He was appointed to the Easton Suburban Water Authority Board of Directors in 2003 and currently serves as Assistant Secretary of the Board.

Mr. Moorehead is exceptionally skilled in project, event, facility and personnel management. He is currently President and Chief Executive Officer of the Two Rivers Area Chamber of Commerce serving Northampton and Lehigh Counties in Pennsylvania and western Warren County in New Jersey. In
 

this capacity, he is responsible for coordination and administration of all activities in accordance with the policies of the Board of Directors and the corporation’s By-laws. In 2005, he was recognized for having lead the chamber to a three-star accreditation by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce – an achievement accomplished by only five chambers in Pennsylvania.

Prior to joining the Chamber staff, Mr. Moorehead was the Vice President and General Manager of Penske Motorsports, Inc., in Nazareth. In that role, he was responsible for organizing and executing national and international professional motorsports events for stock car, sports car and Indy-style cars. During his tenure at Penske, he also directed all marketing and sales activities for the Michigan International Speedway, Domino’s Pizza 500 at Pocono, Budweiser Cleveland Grand Prix and Nazareth Speedway.

Mr. Moorehead is a graduate of Jackson Community College in Jackson, MI, and has completed additional executive leadership development courses at Northampton Community College’s Center for Business & Industry.

He is active as an officer or Board member for Northampton County Industrial Development Authority, Lehigh Valley Export Network, College Valley Steering Committee, Lehigh Valley Economic Development Council, Miller-Keystone Blood Center, Team Pennsylvania Lehigh Valley Workforce Investment Board, Weller Center for Health Education, and Lehigh University Small Business Development Center.

Mr. Moorehead and his wife reside in Easton. They have one son, a daughter-in-law and three grandchildren.
