Robert J. Bergren
Treasurer of the Board
Robert Bergren joined the Board of Directors of the Easton Suburban Water Authority in 2002. He is a
past Chairman of the Board and currently serves as Treasurer of the Board. He also serves on the Finance
and Security committees.
Mr. Bergren holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree from Cornell University, and a Master's
in Business Administration from Lehigh University. He retired in 1985 as Vice President of Administration
at SI Handling Systems, Inc., a manufacturer of automated materials handling equipment in Easton. During
his career, he also served as Vice President of Manufacturing and Vice President of Finance.
Mr. Bergren serves as Chairman of the Hugh Moore Park Charitable Trust, Treasurer of ProJeCt of Easton
and a Board of Directors member of the Historic Easton Cemetery and the Rotary Club of Easton. He is also
an Elder and member of the Finance Committee at the College Hill Presbyterian Church in Easton.
Previously, Mr. Bergren held a variety of leadership and authority positions with the Nazareth National
Bank & Trust Company, Henry S. Lehr Inc., the Northampton County Industrial Development Commission, the
Two Rivers Area Chamber of Commerce, Easton Kiwanis Club, State Theater of Easton, Valley Health
Foundation and Easton Heritage Day.
Mr. Bergren lives in Easton. He has two children and one grandchild.
