Robert Walker
Member of the Board
Robert Walker joined the Easton Suburban Water Authority Board of Directors in 2011. Mr. Walker retired
from Metropolitan Edison Company in 2009. He held various positions over his 38-year career, including
Distribution Engineering Supervisor, Business Office Manager, Customer Relations Manager, and Major
Accounts Manager.
Mr. Walker is a life-long resident of the Easton area, graduating from Easton Area High School in 1966
and Lafayette College in 1971, with a B.S. degree in both Mathematics and Electrical Engineering.
Mr. Walker received Community Service Volunteer Recognition Awards from Met-Ed in 1990 and GPU Energy in
1996. His community service involvement includes: past board member of the Palmer Township Athletic
Association; volunteer at Third Street Alliance; past president of the Easton Lions Club, where he has
been secretary since 1982; former manager and team representative in the Northampton County American
Legion Baseball League and league statistician since 1994; and past chairman and past treasurer of the
Palmer Township Recreation Board.
Bob and his wife, Betsy, live in Palmer Township. They have two children.
